Alicia has a passion for teaching and helping others.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University in 1994, but soon realized her heart was set on teaching.  She quickly earned her teaching certification, and in her desire to focus even more on her passion of helping others, she later earned a Master's of Science in School Counseling from Texas Woman's University in 2007. Alicia has worked in the public school system for 27 years, the last 18 of which were spent as a school counselor. Her time as a teacher and counselor allowed her to work directly with many students in need, and she is now looking forward to being able to continue serving people in our community in her role with PIC.

 

Alicia was born and raised just outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  She and her husband of 22 years moved to the San Antonio area 9 years ago, and they have four children.
